Activity 1: Military Basics Walk
Goal: Students learn the basics of the military pathway
Play Operation: Who am I? (Also known as heads up), to learn more about the military pathways.
- Create Teams
- One student from each team will take turns guessing what word is on the screen while their team describes the word.
- Each correct answer is one point.
Play music and keep score! At the end of the game review the pros and cons list with your cohort.
Closing Discussion:
- Has any of the information you learned today changed your perception of the military pathway?
- Do you personally know anyone who is currently enlisted or who has served in the past? What perceptions do you have of the military based on their experience?
- What do you find most exciting about this pathway? Most intimidating?
