Mood Check: Gather the students into a circle (standing or sitting – keep comfort in mind)!

Activity 1: The 3-Year Challenge (40 Mins)

Part 1: Mapping Milestones: Students create a 3-year roadmap (junior year, senior year, and the year after graduation).

Checkpoints: What do they need to accomplish each year to stay on track?

Part 2: Obstacle Course – After you’ve completed your milestone map think about a few challenges that could block your success. 

  1. Identify Roadblocks: What challenges could throw them off track? (Low grades, distractions, lack of motivation)
  2. Solutions Sprint: Teams brainstorm how to overcome these challenges and share their best solutions.
