OBJECTIVE:

Students will reflect on what they want out of their final semester, set intentions for themselves and their community, and identify ways they can finish strong academically, socially, and emotionally.

Activity 1: “My Final Semester Intentions”

Goal: Review cohort site + S2 happenings.

Instructions:

Students create a short “Final Semester Intentions” list, focusing on three key areas:

Personal Growth

  • What’s one habit, mindset, or goal I want to carry into the finish line?

Relationships & Community

  • How do I want to show up for others (friends, family, teachers)?
  • What kind of energy do I want to leave behind?

Opportunities & Legacy

  • What’s something I still want to experience, try, or leave behind?
  • How can I lead by example—even in small ways?

Activity 2: “Senior Role Model Moment” Scenarios (20 minutes)

In pairs or small groups, students read short, relatable scenarios and reflect on how they would respond as seniors who are setting the tone.

Sample Scenarios:

  1. You see underclassmen acting out in a space where you’ve been trusted to lead. Do you speak up?

  2. Your friend is skipping class often and seems to be giving up. Do you say something?

  3. You’re feeling “checked out,” but you know your teachers and mentors are still showing up for you.

Discussion Prompts:

  • How would you want to be remembered in this moment?

  • What values or goals can help guide your choice?

  • How can you finish strong without pretending everything is perfect?
