Opening
Goal: Conduct the cohort ritual and mood check.
Feel free to play music to generate energy and set the vibe!
- Opening Ritual: Conduct your opening ritual!
- Mood Check: Gather the students into a circle (standing or sitting – keep comfort in mind)!
Activity 1: Defining Passion vs. Purpose
Passion vs. Purpose – Is there a difference between the two? If so, what is it?
As a cohort, look up the definition to both and create a venn diagram to identify the similarities and differences.
Activity 2: Let’s Debate!
Should you select a pathway/career based on your passion or your purpose?
- Divide the cohort into two groups.
- One team will be passion and the other purpose.
- Take 5 minutes to build your argument.
- Each team will present their argument to the opposing team
