Meet Phil, the dynamo behind Next Gen! As our Executive Director since 2017, Phil brings boundless energy to leading strategic growth, fundraising, and management. But that's not all – Phil's journey is packed with adventure! Before joining us, he rocked as the Director of Performance Management at WorkSource Atlanta and even spread his magic as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines. And wait for it... Phil's also our superhero State Representative for Georgia House District 59, championing Atlanta and East Point with his unstoppable spirit!

Superpower: My super power is creative thinking. I love the sight of a blank canvas, it allows me to bring an unseen vision to life. I thrive at bringing people and challenges together to solve problems in clever, original ways.

Fun Fact: Music is my love language, I was named after the great Nina Simone.

Superpower: Finding solutions, no matter how big the challenge, is my superpower. With faith and a growth mindset, I truly believe that every problem has an answer. Strategic planning lights me up, but you’ll just as often find me rolling up my sleeves, inspiring others, and working alongside the team to deliver impactful results.

Superpower: My superpower is bringing words and brands to life. Whether it's crafting compelling narratives, designing engaging content, or orchestrating impactful campaigns, I thrive on communicating the heart and soul of a brand to its audience, leaving a lasting impression that resonates.

Fun Fact: I’m probably the biggest Serena Williams fan you’ll ever meet.

Superpower: My superpower lies in my ability to foster deep and meaningful connections. Empathy is my greatest strength, enabling me to not only walk in someone else's shoes but to dance in them. Through empowering those around me, stronger communities are built, relationships are nurtured, and a sense of unity is instilled.
